Katie Gray is a Senior Partner at In-Q-Tel, a non-for-profit venture capital firm based in Arlington, Virginia that makes investments in startup companies that have developed commercially focused technologies that will serve the missions of the U.S. intelligence community. Highly respected for her industry knowledge and strategic management skills, Katie has served at lead investment partner for the company’s cybersecurity practice since 2018.  Prior to IQT, Katie served in consultant/product management roles for Palm/H and Plastic Logic, and in Senior Product Manager roles at Palm and Handspring. Prior to joining Handspring, Katie was a member of the founding team and Vice President of Marketing for Bluelark, a pioneer in mobile web software. Before moving into the technology industry, Katie worked in Washington DC as professional staff for the U.S. Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. Katie earned her B.A. in Human Biology at Stanford University and her M.B.A. at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
